My Family

Oh how I do love JJ Mocha's! Chicken salad sandwiches, tomato basil soup (thanks for tipping me off to that Jody), sweet tea, and the best chai in town. Did I forget something? Oh yes, my family around me sharing what could only be described as the best going away lunch ever! I was expecting lots of jokes from Pam, but PBS didn't show the joke special the night before, so we were out of luck...you know I love you Pam! By the way, if you'll look closely, you'll see Pam and I do have something we can agree on...we're both holding our bottles of Diet Coke!!!!! Whenever I'm not feeling sure of myself, I look at this photo of "my family" and know that I have people who love me. Thanks girls If only Paul could have been there, but I know he was spending quality time with his new picture!

Buddies

My German buddy. If you'll notice the background, you'll see parts of the warehouse. From the "pigeon situation", to walking appointments back thru the warehouse, to setting up last minute meetings, Sabrina always makes me laugh! The dart board is on the wall and getting LOTS of good use! I will not miss putting everything together for June leadership (I don't think I've ever been that tired!) or Summer Institute (when we learned The Boot was one of us); however, I will and do miss seeing and laughing with you each day. Keep calling and texting. Have I told you how proud I am of you for that!?!?

My Better Half

So the other night I was telling Perry that he should be glad Leighanne isn't a man, because he might have been in trouble! He immediatley fell off the sofa laughing. I've never believed in the whole ying and yang thing, but this woman is the other half of me. She motivates and inspires me. She laughs, cries, and counsels me. I don't know how I made it in life before we met!

Crazy Times

So, I've been in Shreveport and at the new job for a full week. It seems to be going well. Sabrina calls every other day and asks if I hate it and am ready to come home. It's funny the B'town isn't exactly my home town, but it certainly feels like it. I miss all the girls, but I think of them so often, that I feel like they're with me. I asked a lady at work if they've ever done a Conga line around the office. She said no, and I couldn't believe it! Vickie would love the office set up. It's very conducive to group songs and conga lines! Maybe one day I'll try to get them to do it......
